What are Narrative Practices?
Narrative Therapy approach is a profound way to elicit individuals’ preferred stories, enabling people to understand their lives and the world they live in and take individual and collective actions to better their lives.
This approach is therapeutic as it improves many aspects of physical, Social, Emotional and cognitive or mental health. It creates peace and homonym in an excellent way to relieve stress, anxiety and reduce negative thoughts and feelings, depression and nature resilience, self-esteem and social connections.


Shaping Our Stories
As a response to demand to expand this knowledge to communities in Uganda, MESHCOP Uganda in partnership with Dulwich Center Foundation International, Narrative Therapy Center Canada and the University of Rwanda have facilitated 4 Narrative Therapy Trainings in Uganda in 2023.
